Macromedia and "Non-PCs"

Knowledge@Wharton has an interesting interview with Macromedia CEO Rob Burgess and CFO Betsey Nelson. The interview covers a number of topics but primarily how Macromedia is targeting devices other than PC's - cell phones, PDA's, set top boxes, etc to extend their reach in the market. Macromedia has thus far been able to take a animation file format (Flash) and turn it into a platform for anything from movies, rich Internet applications, printable documents, and even web conferencing. It will be interesting to see where else they take their platform - on and off the web.
