Firefox on Fire

Spread Firefox set a goal to have the latest version of Firefox downloaded 1 million times within 10 days. Congrats to the team there for doing it in doing it in just over 4 days!

Firefox is a really great browser - if you haven't tried it yet, you should. It works pretty much identically across multiple platforms, and has features like tabbed browsing, RSS support, a built in popup blocker, and great search features. It is also faster and IMHO has a cleaner interface than Internet Explorer.

While not immune to security problems, the Firefox team has been very quick to patch security holes - in many cases, the patch is available before or on the same day a security alert is published.
