Predicting the future

The unofficial Apple Weblog has posted a set of predictions for next week's MacWorld Expo show. The "Stevenote" always features new product announcements. Here are a few of my own predictions:

  1. A new Mac mini or lower end Mac Pro. Something similar in performance to the iMac but with additional expandability and no screen
  2. Updated iLife, iWork, and .Mac - this is (almost) a no brainer
  3. iTV will be officially named and release date set, if not released at the show
  4. Additional movie studios added to iTunes Store
  5. (Maybe) A 6th generation iPod
  6. Finally, the only one for sure: those Apple store gift cards will come in handy!
